Wandering Sword on Steam

 

playing cod zombies while listening to laufey is a true experience very peaceful

 

Know it, own it, haven't played it, which makes me absolutely useless.

 

You know, I had that as my top choice until I thought of the impact narratively that I think TLOU was able to pull off and how it's now transcended beyond just a game and into a prestige tv show. I think that's what gives the slight edge to it, but the reboot of GoW definitely showed why it's definitely 100% top 3 PS exclusives and especially what is considered THE franchise that's shown how it's done re: spanning multi generations and able to reboot itself into something better. I think those two are easily the #1 and #2 (more like 1 and 1.5 tbh) of exclusives.

 

Hooked on Balatro. Just got to ante 9.

I was at target today and didn’t realize there’s so many handheld gaming PCs now and target has them except for the steam deck.

 

Steam Deck is still the best one

 

I don't think I've seen a steam deck in a store before. I don't think I've seen one period

 

I don't think Steam would sell the Deck in stores, would they? Why share profits?

 

How many hours did you put in? I’m about 10 hours deep and it feels like it’s just starting

 

I’m nearing 50 hours and still have a handful of side quests I want to finish up but I won’t be doing every single one. I did do all 7 companion quests though

Yeah you’ll never see a deck in a store unless it’s second hand, the other manufacturers have been selling their other hardware in stores for years (asus, Logitech, etc) so that makes sense

 

50 sounds good, I'll have to check my time next time I log on. I'm not going for the platinum, I doubt I'll hunt down every collectible but I'm definitely going for every side quests and the big side bosses. There are collectibles if you explore EVERY nook and cranny and rooftop and random area l, some that you wouldn't even think of checking.

 

I was just surprised that there’s already that many competitors and that you could casually stroll into target and get one as opposed to say a Best Buy or something more specialized

 

Essentially this with the extra spice of “there’s already no one except for amd making money off of this thing”
