*whispers* Game Pass is a subscription service and not an investment into an ecosystem and remains a great, possibly even the best, deal in gaming.

 

I’m quite partial to ps plus essentials these days but it wouldn’t exist the way it does without gamepass

 

I also don’t consider myself a part of any ecosystem I just have systems that play games and I play em JFG

 

Yes! Play games regardless of what they are on. Simple as that.

it turns out I really like the running around part in SMT V and I want more of just that.

 

I've gone on to build a decent digital library over time, even buying games that have been on GP because I liked them so much. Also been buying more physical 360 games over the past year before they inevitably increase in price which, with backwards compatibility, has been a ton of fun.

I'm also overly invested in my achievements... It's irrational but I'll buy stuff for Xbox over PC a lot of the time just to watch that stupid number go up haha

 

Yesterday I sat on my couch and played Balatro on PS5 before dinner, then ate dinner, then sat back on the couch and played more Balatro, then laid in bed with my Steam Deck and played Balatro (with a bit of Phasmophobia before)

It's fucked up and great and this is why I can't actually gamble

 

Someone tell me if Mario & Luigi Brothership is worth getting haha. Reviews are all over the fucking place

They lost a lot of stuff I liked on it and picked up a lot of stuff I don't like but the concept of it is still great

 

It’s fun but flawed as fuck. I’m on the fourth open map and haven’t picked it up in a while but it’s a good deck option when I’m watching tv

 

Honestly I really enjoyed it. Is it good? Probably not. Did I have fun? Yeah. Was I thrown off by hearing Kellin Quinn singing while I fight a boss? Absolutely.

 

I still use my XSX, but Microsoft has made it really hard to give a shit about them anymore.

 

Have been on there recently? Literally something good drops on analmost daily basis.

 

On the first boss battle I had to google to make sure it was him lol so bizarre

 

Just because "it's good" to you/whoever else doesn't mean "I like it" we all have different tastes idk what to tell you
