eh they made it for Arcane last year and then got to give it to Last Of Us this year.

 

I also snagged rollerdrome and slay the spire while I was at it. I love having 160 games on my wishlist something is always dirt cheap when I get some extra money to spend

 

I mean, I carried the scrolls down from the mountain...

Also acceptance speeches get played off after 30 seconds but this guy gets two plus minutes to ramble on about whatever he's doing...

 

Yeah it sucks that they gave more time to best adaptation but I get why they did it. These adaptations bring so many more eyes to some of these games, and these shows are going to be an intro to games for non-gamers so they want to showcase it.

Like I know TLOU shot up in sales after the show released and I’m sure the same happened for other games.

i mean also, I'm sure they got some money from Bethesda and Amazon to show off/talk about the Fallout TV show. Just like they are getting money from all of these games they are showing off. Whereas just doing the awards doesn't give them any money.

I'm in the final dungeon, right before the boss room, although there is still more game after that.

I'm also kind of really hoping I haven't been lied to about being able to pick and choose my final bonding scene at this point, cause a lot more happened between that bike scene way back when and now than I was expecting, and I'm getting a little nervous.

I also just learned I completely missed an entry on the characters page because I didn't talk to a particular person twice. Really fucking annoyed by this. Oh well, I was going to do a second run anyway, but the more I don't do now, the more I have to do later, so bah humbug.

 

The awards being a sideshow to the ads like this honestly feels like a parody. Feel bad for the devs who are just barely getting attention for their work, especially in a year of so many layoffs.

 

That mobile thing was genuinely embarrassing my god

 

yeah I get why they do it. it both brings in money, and also gets more eyes tuned in as people watch just for the big announcements. but they've definitely over shot the balance

probably one more dumb trailer for something no one really cares about, then a trailer that shows a few quick cuts of spooky monsters before a voice says something like "Go home Tarnished. You don't belong here"

Noah fence to all those that love Elden Ring but I’ll be bummed if that’s the last big trailer they end with. I tried to play but it was just not for me lol.
