I downloaded ZZZ the other day for giggles and will check it out. Expectations are low but that roguelite video someone posted definitely has my interest.

 

Finishing up Trails to Azure this week finally. Game has been incredible, and am excited to start Reverie right after. Gonna get caught up in the next few months on that and Daybreak.

Hades: I can't remember if weapon aspects are only unlocked after your first win but there's one for fists that gives dodge chance. Also Hermes keepsake. Also Hermes boon. I got to ten wins in my second save file relatively quickly by just stacking dodge.

 

Anyway, I started Guacamelee 2

 

Yep, after your first escape they’re unlocked. My favorite one with the fists is the magnet.

 

Guacamelee 1 was better in my opinion but they are both great

I cannot. But I can pull a "sorry I had to walk my horse" and never log back in.

Eventually you get a skill in the mirror that lets you “reroll” if you don’t like boons offered from a god and they’ll give you three new ones. You can upgrade it to get more refills per run. It’s a life saver, especially if you need an extra death defy in a well, but it’s not offered, but you reroll and it pops up.

 

Is it one of the alternate ones on the mirror? I haven’t really looked at those yet since I just unlocked them

 

No, it’s one of the last ones you unlock with the 30 keys. The alternate to it is rerolling the chamber.

 

Heres a good VS-like rogue if anyone is in the mood. Been out in EA since Feb and has had a bunch of updates, the balancing has gotten much better since the initial release
