The cost and I enjoy gaming on my couch.

I'm not exactly against PC. I get where it's better (FPS, CRPGs), but at this point I don't really feel like I'm missing out.

 

if you can hook your tv to your steam deck i guess it's the same as doing so with a pc, or an xbox

 

This is why I haven't fully made the switch yet

I know there's alternatives that make it possible but I feel like they require more of an investment than I can/will give right now

Yeah. I'm sure I could totally figure out a way to enjoy PC. But i mostly mentally picture doing it at my desk and I already spend my time working there. lmao.

Also, again the extra cost.

 

oh, interesting. i've actually never owned a handheld, and when i briefly played Cult of the Lamb on my friend's Switch I left it on the table. I'm afraid I'd get motion sickness if i moved the screen with my hands too much

 

Never thought that was a thing tbh, but then I've been handheld gaming most of my life. For the most part your hands are resting on something, be it your lap or table, etc., so I'm not sure how common of an issue this would be for people. But I can't rule it out either.

 

If you don't game on PC, how will you multitask and post on Chorus at the same time?

I don’t even have a legit gaming PC and still have a 20ft hdmi cable connected to my TV. Lol

If I had the money, I would switch to PC gaming so fast.

 

it shouldn't cost too much to "switch" to pc unless you intend to go all out. you don't exactly need a high end system to play something like Hollow Knight or Hades, the average laptop should be able to handle those. I probably only play a handful of AAA titles a year nowadays, and, i guess this is where personal preference comes in, I don't mind setting the graphics quality to "medium" or lower to help with performance

 

A lot of TVs do not work well for PC gaming, I’ve tried and I’d absolutely need to upgrade (AND own a second PC, my PC is on the other side of the house and I still want a desktop option)

considering picking up tsukihime and witch on the holy night, but can someone tell me why the file sizes for the switch versions (23gb & 20gb) are so big? are they THAT high quality or do they not compress them??

 

It might be the VA? Only thing I can think of.

Type-Moon is known for that kinda stuff. Thars one of the reasons why FGO on mobile is taking up 13GB only phone and it's nowhere near that kind of resource heavy game lol.
