Octopath is the sole reason I bought a Switch, the first console I bought since the Gamecube lol

1 has its flaws for sure but it is very dear to me. Soundtrack was also my most listened to album like 3 years in a row

 

I wanna try an Octopath game but I’m getting sick of starting big games I’ll never finish.

giving Sly Cooper a go. props to PlayStation for adding a rewind and save state to their old console emulation. maybe it’s been there before but this is the first game I’ve played with it

 

Idk how Sly Cooper and Jak and Daxter haven’t just been given to a new studio. Maybe there’s not actually enough demand for it. But it feels like a waste just because their studios are busy doing bigger things now.

 

Idk there’s so much sequel churn across all media these days not every single franchise needs to last forever

 

That’s a good point. But with all the sequels/remasters/remakes happening, I just don’t get why those two specifically have been left to die. I’m probably just overestimating the demand, but it’s just a bummer when Ratchet & Clank is still killing it.

 

I think ratchet and clank has always been bigger but yeah idk couldn’t tell you why some studios continue with IP and others let them die

 

Oh yeah it definitely has always been bigger. I’m just lumping them together because they were kinda like the trio back then and all 3 studios were basically supporting each other. I at least probably have a better chance at a revival than ever playing Silksong

 

I really wanna give team cherry the benefit of the doubt but the complete lack of communication and no real updates in god knows how long has me worried something has gone terribly, terribly wrong over at that studio

 

Man, I wanted to give Fallout 4 another shot after really liking the show, but fuck, I just top-to-bottom hate this game lol

 

I have tried and failed to get into fallout so many times but one of these days I swear to god I’ll follow through on new vegas

 

ended up refunding SMTV. It was getting between me and my newfound addiction to Honkai Star Rail, the most unfortunately named game ever.

I don't understand the design choice to flatline the perk system into a tree, and remove skills entirely, so fucking baffling. I had installed 76 to potentially give it a go too, but I think these both might be getting deleted soon lol.

 

I didn’t hate it but it’s one of the most mid games I’ve ever played and I never even bothered finishing it. Fallout 3 and New Vegas are where it’s at though.

 

Fallout 76 is absurdly bad, at least on PC. It’s so janky, even moving feels like shit. And it looks like absolute ass.
I think the good word of mouth is just cope by people who’ve invested too much time.

all other fallout games kick ass tho, including 4 which I love.

I played the beta or whatever for Fallout 76. Idk how anyone that played that could even go on to play the full game. Or maybe they didn’t lol
