I’ve been having that graphics issue on my series x and I decided to try every single way it told me to fix it and none of them worked.

I was like shoot let me just send it in for repairs and the repair would have costed $300.

I am now looking into a local shop because screw that or just buying an new one.

Player's Log: Boundless Trails.

I'm in the middle of the third act and I just now figured out I can transport between the main town and the other world from the select screen instead of going through that damn portal all the time.

Anyway, game is still fun, light, and breezy. I do like the mechanics that have you changing the seasons to change the appearance, layout, and enemy types in each stage. Very Oracle Of Seasons, sort of. Not really I guess, but it still reminds me of it. It's a vibe.

The gameplay, especially since Noi learns arts that you can use to solve puzzles, is now reminding me a lot of Wild Arms, even though that's not an action-RPG. Also Threads Of Fate. Man, I'm getting all kinds of nostalgic.

Another thing I've learned about this game that I'm interested to experience is that I will have to replay the game a second time. That's nothing new, the other Trails games have had me do that off and on, but what's different here is that the second time around introduces not only new sidequests in each chapter, but totally new NPCs to go along with them. That's very peculiar, and has me intrigued.

I can't say I'm thrilled about having to play the game multiple times, but it's so fast-paced, I'm not really bothered by it. It is what it is.

Over here they actually look at it and give you a price, and if you decline they send it back (and charge a small fee I think)

 

Why can’t I have Infamous 4? The DualSense was made for a game like that.

I’m probably going to spend some time away from my Xbox while I get these issues fixed but on the plus side I can now start my massive backlog of PlayStation games I have just because I have ps plus extra or whatever it’s called

I feel like everybody ignored the post I shared Monday about Silksong because it was April Fool's day lol, but clearly it actually meant something in regards to movement on a release date announcement.

 

Ubisoft has never been on my good side, especially since my physical copy of the crew 1 is useless now
