great game, very few nitpicks (its unbelievably annoying to miss multiple dodges because five enemies are attacking me at the same time) Miles felt SO good to play/fight as,

i'm VERY excited for where they take the next game
especially with that post credit scene. G-Serum.... Norman's really trying to turn Harry into every supervillain, lol. looking forward to Green Goblin vs Ultimate Spider-Man in Spider-Man 3!! and also Carnage!!!

 

Just got to the Cabaret club mission in LaD: Gaiden, that would be an awkward one to explain if someone else came in while I was playing

My interest is mildy peaked by the horde/rogue mode in TLOU. It sounds like it’s a revised Factions. Also, Spider-Man may be next for the re-re-remaster treatment.

I guess Skill Up was added to the review panel for The Game Awards.

Also, this game looks fantastic (and trippy)

 

Every game should be a Metroidvania unless it's an anime RPG. These are the genres.

Let me add to this: every game should be a Metroidvania AND rogue made to the same quality of AW2. Oh, and a soulslike. Carry on.

Unless it's an option and I can still have my "story mode", then we cool.

 

But but TLOU is going to have Rogue! That means it will cause an explosion of Rog…oh wait.

 

The only explosion of rogue I want to see is the X-Man busting up some Sentinels.

 

Every game should be Dead Cells? Roguelike with Metroidvania elements and a little bit of story thrown in

Been playing Last Faith last few days.

overall I like it but it has some jank. You’ll enter a room and there’s a chance you won’t like appear in the doorway but rather midway into a room. This can be a problem when the room has falls. Literally died after a boss fight when I left the room and the next one placed me part way into it. Literally nothing I could do. Was able to go back and get what I lost thankfully but damn.

 

Oof. This is rough.

There’s an assist mode yeah. I haven’t used it yet but I may need to eventually lol it’s a hard game but I like it
