heh, never played lightning returns but 13 and 13-2 are really solid games

 

Never finished 13. Wasn't a fan of the battle system. Was def a fan of the cast, the world and the lore. 13-2 has one of FF best villains and the game is just fun with it's battle system and catching monsters. LR was just.....meh. not a fan of games that have a timer going on in the background and force you to time manage or game over. Let me play at my own pace!

 

out of the two i will say 13 is the weakest, 13-2 really improved on the combat! I’ve heard mixed things on LR so i may wait until a remaster trilogy is real to try it out

 

Plus the story of 13-2. Caius Ballad whew. A villain that made sense. I really feel 13 turned off quite a good amount of fans which sucks because they probably never played 13-2 and that's unfortunate.

16 is a top 10 for me. Can't wait for the story DLC!

If you’ve been doing mostly main story I highly highly recommend doing The Sorrow Of Werlyt sidequest line sometime after you’re done with EW, it’s incredible. It’s a SHB sidequest line with trials

Yeah I finish side stuff content before moving to next expansion. That side quest was awesome, and some crazy ass raids. ShB raids are no joke. I also usually farm all mounts before moving into an expansion but just WATCHING ShB extreme versions has me like wtf. Those Weapons were so badass tho. Currently in EW I just got back from time traveling, I think the quest lvl is 87 or 88 so I'm nearing the end! I've heard the best is still yet to come.
