I mean, the Saturn certainly did its part, but the Dreamcast took it the rest of the way.

This is not a criticism or knock on the console, mind you. Both the Saturn and Dreamcast are fine consoles that had plenty of great games to their name.

But you can't rewrite history.

The PS5 has an expansion slot. It’s so nice and easy. You pop off the shell and screw two screws and done lol

 

Xbox had the right idea for a memory expansion slot in the back of the S/X but made it proprietary and WHOOPS. Def looking into PS5 expansion memory tho but there’s so many options and it’s hard to tell what’s a good deal/SSD or not for my ass.

 

A third grader told me a while ago he got Spider-Man 2 and I told him I beat it. Well he must have told his mom cause he got me a PSN gift card. Downloading BG3 now… I promised my wife she can make my character, since she likes to make it look like me.

 

Also, today I learned:

-To make sure to properly set up an account in a game so you link it to another account later.
-Google are a bunch of assholes with account recovery
-Don’t redeem digital currency on a platform that doesn’t allow it be used on other platforms.


All this so my kid can play Fortnite and use V-Bucks I got her for Christmas.



Got it all done though and now I’m watching her step all over people in the game on her fancy new pink controller she also got for Christmas!

I'm at the start of Act 2 Part 4, where the game is beginning to dovetail with the end of Azure as everyone is witnessing the birth of the Azure Tree.


Despite only having one named character death, the razing of Celdic was extremely sad to see, and everyone's reactions to the act and the aftermath.

Anyway, I'm intrigued that there's still plenty of game left at this point. Besides Act 2 Part 4, there's then a Finale chapter, a chapter called Divertissement which may as well be called the "Meanwhile, Back At The Ranch" chapter, and then an Epilogue chapter that I'm told is sizeable.

I'm excited!

 

I have it and it's neat. It's a cool alternative if you want to play games and don't want to use your phone for anything else for a bit
