Yes! This is a vital thing to do, when making your build focus on one color! I usually went purple, sometimes red, green involves a lot of parrying (that's what the pros at this game do, i've tried it a little) but you nearly NEED to just focus on one color, of course a few upgrades can go to the other colors, especially for a HP boost.

In the last area I realized I need to just avoid a lot of the enemies that I could by dodging through them. If you just try to kill everything you're going to get torched at one time or another.

 

I really want to get back into DC but I forgot to transfer my data over from my PS4

Just did the first mission so far and it was excellent.

 

same i just unlocked the relic thing and created the glaive. about to go on a snack run and then go goblin mode on this campaign all night.

 

I don’t know what’s happening in destiny 2 besides pretty graphics and cool characters but that’s all good with me

 

its real weird how the story in the base game just doesnt exist now and the only stories you can do are the expansions lol. i only did the whole forsaken campaign and had no idea wtf was going on the entire time. after witch queen im probably gonna shell out for beyond light and knock that one out too. im sure i can find a video tying everything together but yeah its just a very weird new player experience from a lore perspective theres really not anything to even tell you what you missed


but given the quality of story in the first however many halo games bungie did i feel like im probably not missing much lol. i mean no offense but its not like its ever been anything too far beyond kill the aliens to save mankind

I played the story modes for Destiny 1 & 2 when they came out but never dove into the multiplayer too much. I have friends that have put hundreds (thousands?) of hours into it though.

I agree with all of you, they should just abandon Resident Evil and make a new Dino Crisis.

 

Also, that PSVR 2 looks so incredibly good. I hope it's as comfortable as it looks. The first one was pretty comfortable as well.

 

they've moved on to Apex since then lol

 

PSVR looks good but it would be good better without a cable.

 

i like it because it reminds me so much of the wow gear grind only set in a halo-esque fps sci fi shooter. queue up for activities, some pve some pvp some pvepvp, go fuck around on some open maps doing public events, do bounties basically akin to dailies in wow, etc. theres so much to do to grind out currency, gear, xp, and theres always something new to be working toward, until of course you max out your character and complete all the raids then i dk what to do but that wont happen to me maybe ever lol.

 

The grind only gets better/more addicting once you hit the power cap too because then you’re trying for specific weapon rolls to get the right perks/stats on the weapons you like. I’m excited to dive back in tonight, it’s been too long.

Probably aesthetically, but for the performance and price point it's going to be incredibly impressive and powerful compared to the competition. I'll try to find the specific article, but from specs alone people have said that it's going to clown out a lot of other headsets because of the direct connection.

 

I actually own Destiny 2, but I don't have the expansions, and I'm kind of feeling like I probably never will.

I only last year got a computer that can could run Destiny 2 competently, and considering how much I've missed out on and will never experience, I feel like it's too late for me to get into it the way I'd want to.

It's wild to me that they just destroyed so much of what they built in one fell swoop. Do other MMOs do that? As an example, as far as I know DC Universe Online still has all the content it had when it first launched, and that game's twice as old as Destiny 2.

 

the light horror elements that come up in destiny every now and then are so nice. this super dark haunted looking place im in right now is spooky

 

this is like, the initial pitch for destiny 1 haha. not trying to give you a hard time, just funny that you're just now getting into it, have a good time dude

 

destiny 2 as far as i know is the first game to actually remove large chunks of content like entire zones and stuff (besides when like, entire games are taken offline like warhammer online or wildstar). all the old content in world of warcraft is irrelevant but you can still go to those places and run those old raids and dungeons by yourself for collectables.
