its (unfortunately) an extremely short campaign for an MMO. And the side quests are extremely underwhelming. Main quests can get you to 50 in about 12-14 hours.

but same, this was my hold over until ER

 

I stopped playing at level 20 tonight, 7 hours played so far

Just took down the big lava spider boss in outriders. That was a shit load of fun. Boss fights are incredibly well designed in this game as well as the overall combat loop and feel

 

The game looks insane on my Series X combined with the LG. Glad you are enjoying it.

 

So I just finished Dying Light 2.

It's going to take me a little while to think all of it through, but I'll just say this:

It's fucking weird and it's such a mess.

That’s honestly a lot better than I expected as far as a rating.

 

There's so much in it that's so close to being right and so much of it that makes it feel like a constant chore. It's a mishmash of too many things that don't work together.

 

Yeah the burn in seems to the pretty dependent on the individual these days (but I saw plenty of CXs on the web with Apex Legends burn in). However, the eventual fading of the TV is still inevitable. That appears to happen too soon still for my taste with OLED TVs. But that’s just me.

I got a LCD TV that was at least 120fp but sent it back because it gave me eye strain so I sent it back (I probably need a flicker free one, which is one of the reasons I haven’t bought once since, because they are either OLED or are bad Sony TVs with motion blur). Then I had no TV. Then my fiancé’s great-aunt died and we got her 2007 or so (but still very much functioning) 1080i TV. It looks terrible but hey at least I can still play Apex at 60fps.

So yeah, I’m in a hell of my own making. But I will never find a Series X anyway.
