in my mind there’s like zero way Zelda could be made into a good show

The problem with adapting Zelda is that Link has no personality. He's a blank slate for the player to project their own personality onto.

 

Get a hunky actor to play Link but have Bobcat Goldwaith dub his lines.

 

I can definitely see Zelda being a universally acclaimed film or series if they actually make it right, but the odds of Nintendo ever allowing someone to do that is slim to none.

there is very little dialog to Zelda

it would have to be made by someone who understands how to do a show with primarily physical acting

Zeldas story and lore is also kinda paper thin

it’s the world that is so fun

 

it can be mostly action and world, doesn't need to be filled with dialogue and filler story. even keep Link silent.

an animated zelda show with like a samurai jack style where link barely says anything and its more about the characters he meets and how ganon has impacted their life would be awesome. but i could never see a live action show work
