If i’m being honest, I feel like I’ve been here for the most part since beating Ghost when it came out like 18 months ago. There’s been a few things that held my attention for awhile, Hades specifically was my entire life for the first two weeks after it showed up on Gamepass, but I’ve been dying for that big immersive AAA game for ages now. Thankfully it’ll only be a couple more weeks until I can run Sifu/HFW/Elden Ring back to back to back.

 

I'm fortunate in that the past 18 months have been filled up with pretty much playing and completing all the Soulsborne games. Between that and getting into the Legend of Heroes: Trails games it really kept me engaged. Idk if I have ever been so excited for a game as I am for ER, though. Sifu looks damn cool too.


2022 can be a GOAT year if things go even half-accordingly.

 

if you all feel like you have nothing to play, might I point out that critically acclaimed MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV has an expanded free trial that allows you to play through the entirety of A Realm Reborn and the award winning Heavensward expansion up to level 60 for free with no restrictions on playtime?

 

Yeah having nothing to play is mostly on you / your preferences.

I’m gonna get a winning run on hades one of these days. I’m on 32nd attempt and have only seen hades once. I get stone walled at Theseus and the Minotaur or shortly before in Elysium. Yesterday I got the Minotaur down completely and Theseus down to maybe 10% but I ran through my two death defied’s and was hanging on by the skin of my teeth

 

I hate Theseus so much

I've gotten through the 2 without burning death defiances before but it took forever and drained me mentally so much that like, I just completely flopped after cuz I'm exhausted

 

I thought since I got the Minotaur down I had it in the bag but fuck it’s so annoying I had the power up that drops a crystal that shoots a beam every time I use my cast so I would drop 3 of them all over and somehow he’s blocking them all lol. It worked in taking out the Minotaur though

 

32 attempts is pretty good going like. Took me I think 40-something before I beat Hades.

With Theseus and the Minotaur, I concentrate entirely on the Minotaur first. Don't even try and deal with Theseus till the other one is down. Just waiting for the Minotaur to attack, dashing through him, and landing a few attacks from behind. Rinse and repeat.

 

I think I'm at 30-32 right now and have killed Theseus+Minotaur 3 times but I have way more deaths to them than anything else and I feel 0 comfort in beating them haha, like every time it feels like the final boss for me and feels extremely drop dependent on whether or not I can beat them

 

the thing I’m finally realizing is that it takes patience and I usually try and move as quickly as I can and zerg through most of the game and with all my talents and power ups it’s fine for the sisters and bone hydra but I’m not powerful enough for it to be a viable strat for Theseus
