I love death stranding but it’s a hard sell

 

Death Stranding is a modern classic but your enjoyment is very much dependent on your thoughts on INFRASTRUCTURE WEEK

 

I don’t think it’s as clear cut as that. Surely Microsoft is using Call of Duty as bait to get SOMETHING out of Sony, and I’m not talking dollars.

And that’s assuming Spencer is being truthful here, because Call of Duty as an exclusive is quite a feather in MS‘ cap.

i still think main line games become exclusive after their marketing agreements end

Honestly thinking of buying it, it’s on sale on Amazon and I have a gift card to use

 

I just thought people used death stranding as a game to finish their eoty album lists

 

there's a lot to love about death stranding as soon as all of kojima's actor friends shut up for a little bit

 

You don’t spend 70b dollars to share your toys with someone else.

But we will see how it all plays out…

I haven’t finished it yet, but I liked what I’ve played so far. I stopped playing around the time that I moved and just never returned to it.

It is very heavy on the “giving you more questions than answers” in the early game (about 20+ hours for me) and seems convoluted at times. Again, I haven’t gotten far enough to know if anything about the confusing story pays off, so I’m probably not the best authority on the games long-term enjoyability.

But I like the mobility and the sci-fi elements a lot and would say it’s worth a shot and the risk for an on sale price.

 

I will definitely get the Director's Cut of Death Stranding, it looks gorgeous. The atmosphere it creates and that you play in just looks so cool and different. I remember watching a video of the last hour of the game and jesus christ it was intense and weird.

 

I loved Death Stranding, but it’s hard to recommend and I don’t ever have a desire to go back to. It’s a strange one for me.

 

Playing through Death Stranding now and its fine. I think it would be a better game if they took out the mules, the BTs and basically anything else that caused any kind of tension. Just let me walk around and deliver shit.

Death Stranding is probably a top 10 game for me, but it’s absolutely not for everyone.

 

I have spent the majority of my time with it stoned. No clue what is happening in the story, but its nice to walk around

 

I tried to smoke weed today for the first time ever and it didn’t go so well
