Most of cods player base is PlayStation plus they would also make a shit ton more money by keeping it on PlayStation.

take a look at the language.

They're not shutting down Warzone, just like they didn't shut down Minecraft on PS or Switch, but the next CoD won't be on PS5.

Does this mean Bethesda games are timed exclusives as well? Or maybe it means they're gonna be selective with which games from their acquired studios will be multiplatform, including which ones they're released on (IE: PC, mobile and maybe switch...Sony not so much)?

$70 Billion. Let me repeat, Seventy Billion. You don’t pay that much and then share (unless PlayStation allows gamepass to be on the PS5)

Warzone is staying and will be supported on PS5 for as long as it runs, but yeah CoD 2022 will be Xbox only.

Man, Microsoft can just go fuck off with that noise. The fact they’ve bought two whole ass publishers within a year is pretty damn bad and yes, Activision bad but the fact this company is just buying up massive globs of IP should be concerning to people. Like what’s next? EA? Ubisoft?

This country doesn’t do shit to prevent actual monopolies from forming. The deal will be allowed to go through.

70 billion or not why would you want to lose out on even more money when it’s the number one selling game on ps year in and year out

The deal has already gone through and it’s done. Looks at Xbox’s website. It’s already official

that's precisely why they're locking it down.

A CoD-less console is worthless to a LOT of people.

It’s because Xbox clearly wants to knock PlayStation out of the console race.

because it forces people to buy your console to play those games. they're system sellers

    I mean I have an Xbox series x and a ps5 so I really don’t care

it’s just really fucking bad for gaming

hopefully the ftc and anti trust shit won’t allow this to go through prolly won’t happen but it’s wishful thinking

Microsoft buying all these studios and still can't match Sony or Nintendo first party for me.

It's pretty shitty for the gaming community at large though, why couldn't they just spend that money building new studios and games?
