already lost a squad member I really like on the suicide mission in mass effect 2 now I’m scared of who to choose to do what because I had their loyalty and everything :(

I should maybe replay ME 1-2, I'd loaded those saves into 3 when I tried getting into it more recently but couldn't remember any of the choices I'd made. Not looking forward to those clunky controls, tho, so maybe not

 

I don’t think the controls are that clunky in the legendary edition. Never played the originals so dk how those are but the legendary edition is pretty smooth and intuitive with the only big annoyance being in ME1 not being able to map 3 of your powers like you can in 2

 

Just lost two more squad members, both I liked a lot and had their loyalty. Finna cry bro

ME legendary edition controls perfectly

 

Alright done with mass effect 2. mordin died because I sent him through the vent, garrus died as Miranda was shielding us from the swarm, no idea why that happened, zaeed died because??? Lol all three of them were loyal. And then jack died on the ground squad didn’t really show why just her corpse. looks like I barely saved grunt after taking down the giant bad ass human reaper so maybe he would’ve died if he wasn’t loyal? Everyone else lived and I was able to romance tali all the way so I’m glad she lived

 

Lol I romanced Garrus in ME3 and Mordin had one of my favorite/most memorable parts of 3 as well. Literally can’t imagine playing them with it turning out like this, but that’s what’s so cool about those games.

 

bro im so upset lol but im seeing it through with this save no matter what, and ill get to play again and make all different decisions and have a blast, im gonna get a ton of mileage out of these games. im gonna take a break i think though and play dragon age 2 first since thats the only one of the series i havent played yet and then do a full front to back replay of that series as well.

 

that final boss fight was ridiculously bad ass though. just one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen in a video game

I will say I found 2 way harder than 1. I played both on normal and only died a handful of times in the first game. I died quite a bit in this game but I liked the challenge, I’m not typically great at third person shooters and I played vanguard when I wish I would’ve just gone straight solder but I figured it out, only a few times did it feel unfair when I died. Every now and then my companion AI bugged out and they’d be like a room or two behind me stuck at a pillar or something while I’m trying to solo a geth prime or some shit lol. But the combat was fun as fuck I’m so excited for 3. And I already bought andromeda on steam since it was on sale last week.

 

Deathloop just crashed and lost all my mission progress. Killed the visionary and got some sweet loot. All gone

 

HZD q: can I go through Frozen Wilds without having finished the main story? I kinda wanna be at max level when I do the last couple of quests.

 

Pretty sure you can, I have the quest in my quest log already and im not near the end.

 

Oh I meant more like does it address the end of the story in any way

 

Frozen Wilds actually takes place during the events of the game and before the ending, I would actually recommend playing it before the main story ends if you want to see the story unfold in order
