My games of the year are MHS2, Mario Golf, Apex Legends and Halo. I also haven’t played any other games.

That sounds like the opposite of how SRIV was initially supposed to be a DLC for SR the Third but then they made a whole game out of it on basically the same open world map

 

Yeah if you told me that Miles Morales started as a DLC for Spider-Man I’d believe it. I do think it justifies being a standalone game though, personally. It’s just a shorter story in terms of length, it has all the other features you’d expect from a full game (full city map, lots of side content, unlockable costumes, etc.).

Yo I replayed the new Tomb Raider trilogy pretty recently, definitely get your hands on those if you haven't yet

Going to play Spider-Man to ring in the new year

 

Aside from some amazing gameplay, Portal 2 actually does have a very good story. Afaik Valve hasn't really done anything recently aside from Alyx and not everyone has a VR headset, but like, their Half Life and Portal games are still some of the best linear campaigns I've played. Everything from narrative to level design is great, they're honestly some of the most memorable gaming experiences I've had

 

Portal 2 is very fun.
