i bought enough new games in 2021 that i havent even played yet for the next few christmas's

probably my most played year honestly. Working from home at a job that was in the wind down phase gave me a lot of free time lol

 

I don't think I've finished a single game this year lol I'm just waiting for Elden Ring to take over my life.

Wait no I beat Links Awakening.

 

Spending my day collecting the skulls in Infinite

 

I got clothes maybe they should make a folding clothes simulator

 

I probably would’ve finished more if I didn’t spend so much time this year checked into institutions that separated me from the world for weeks at a time aka rehabs and psych wards

 

Will Sony do an end of year wrap up? I need to know if my persona 5 + spin-offs game time was >50% of my total time playing games.

 

Sony's wrap up is released late Jan/early Feb.

 

What were your favorite games?

 

Psychonauts 2 is definitely my favorite of the year. True Colors probably close second. As for the backlog games, Undertale, Hades, and Paradise Killer were highlights. Not much I didn’t enjoy that I played. 12 minutes is the worst I played this year honestly.

Completed the campaign on Heroic! The last area was fun, hehe. Time to mop up!

 

Just had such a good run in Hades

~40 hours into Horizon Zero Dawn. Dang, already? I'd say I'm probably about halfway through the campaign. I'm mostly all decked out on purple weapons/outfits/upgrades at level 35-ish and there's like a third of the map I haven't even touched yet, not to mention the DLC. I mean, I guess my main draw initially was that Ashly Burch voices Aloy, but holy crap I'm loving this so much for so many other reasons.

 

I need to give that game another go but since I don’t have a ps4 anymore I have to repurchase on pc…I don’t wanna spend as much as it goes for for a game I put down pretty early on because I wasn’t feeling it. I know I’d like it if i gave it the time it deserves but idk I have enough stuff I need to get to first. I will eventually get it though

 

my birthday is on the 29th if anyone wants to get it for me

 

Thinking about doing another run of HZD on the PS5 before FW comes out. Never got into the dlc but now i’d have an excuse to.
