I will say that the activities in the game can be a too repetitive but that was my fault for not completing it before finishing the game. Spent like 2-3 hours just completing the bases/crime activities for the platinum lol

 

Yeah, I tend to approach open world games and completing doing a lot of the side stuff first. It allows you to focus on the story more and you are OP going into battles, etc.

 

I tend to do some stuff at the start but I don’t want to be too OP because that just makes fights too easy

 

I’m playing Spider-Man on the hardest difficulty and not finding it difficult at all. Probably because I have played a ton of the Arkham games.

 

The Spider-Man world is also kind of hub world-ish, just big

 

I have no idea what I’m doing in Hell Let Loose but this is intense

 

Spiderman is absolutely an open world game

 

Nothing I love more than being op going in to the end game.

So, Eastward update. I decided to continue onward and do everything I can still do, so that when the developers add their Chapter Select, all I'll need to do is go back to Chapter 3 and eat the diet set.

To that end, I have purchased all the remaining upgrades in the game and I nearly have every Pixball with the exception of the ones I can't get until I beat Earth Born for the first time.

I have only four treasure chests left to get, which will also net me the achievement for getting all the hearts.

Storywise, I'm about to go to the fourth floor of the tower.

My plan tomorrow runs like this: I'm going to focus on doing the Earth Born achievements and try to clear all that nonsense.

Then, all I'll have left to do is finish Chapter 7 and clear Chapter 8 while getting the remaining treasure chests, and that should leave me with only one achievement left, the one that requires the diet set.

I feel good about this.

One of the absolute biggest games of my late childhood, I fucking loved this game and I rarely see people talk about it

Nah I think they’re actual enhancements, they’re releasing mobile versions of the games next year too. Then again, I wouldn’t put it past Rockstar to re-release the same versions on mobiles again

 

They're absolutely new and improved versions. They would get torn to shreds if they weren't. Especially after removing the older versions from stores.

 

finished Deathloop last night. The ending left something to be desired and didn't really answer many questions. Game assumes you've found all the lore and backstory in the various notes and tapes. I had a great time playing it, but it did stumble across the finish line. Seemed a shame that there was only ever one direct path to kill all the visionaries.

 

Y’all have a lot more faith in rockstar than I do lmao
