Eh? They're fine. They have some cool zones/areas and the new Pokemon from that region are neat.

Sword and Shield are by far the worst. Awful characters (mostly your rival), boring areas and absolutely no challenge.

 

SwSh are pretty bad in their own way yeah

 

I mean the worst pokemon game is anything post gold and silver. Pokemon is boring and so formulaic now.

 

No BW/BW2 were arguably the best, X&Y were very good still

 

Pokémon Silver is my favorite one just because nostalgia

 

Emerald came after Gold and Silver

I think ruby, sapphire, and emerald are the best Pokémon games, after that nintendo got full rights to Pokémon products and it changed everything, including the art.

 

Why is it that when I use sing it takes so long for them to fall asleep?

I wouldn't know because hardly anyone knows the power of Wigglytuf. I've faced one maybe three times? That said I get the general sentiment because I am HORRID with Crustle but get absolutely wrecked by Crustle every time.

 

True, also I lost like five ranked matches in a row because I keep getting paired with people who do not understand the power of crustle (joking, they just sucked) and I went down a rank. Things like that make me not want to play, if blastoise didn’t come out today I probably wouldn’t have played for at least a few days.

 

I've never played a Pokemon game other than the Let's Go demo, which was underwhelming. Might start with the Diamond/Pearl remakes.

 

The pre-install is 280mb. If you have auto downloads turned on, it will automatically install the rest (assuming you have the space) right before release so you don’t have to remember to download it yourself

 

Trials weren’t fun, way too much forced cutscenes for a really mediocre story, expected way more from the areas given the setting. Just didn’t do anything for me and is easily my least favorite. I’m not in love with Sword/Shield but I preferred that.

 

I've honestly enjoyed all the spin-off Pokemon games far more than the actual main games. I think it's because the world appeals to me, and the spin-offs are typically well designed, but the idea of a monster-collecting RPG with zero actual plotline doesn't. I don't know if any of the later games get any upgrades in the story department, but I'd love it if they did.

 

Conquest is the best Pokemon game, Gen 3 is fine, and Sword and Shield suck.

 

I enjoyed Sword and Shield a lot when I played it but there was something about the DLC that turned me off enough that I dont really care about the series going forward. Just an overall lack of polish I guess.
