Baldurs gate enhanced edition just went on sale on steam, 6 bucks

 

whew...been meaning to do it for years but my older brother just took me through a little bit of a europa universalis IV playthrough for the first time to teach me the basics and how to get started. getting the grasp on the general concept though obviously have a million things to learn but im definitely hooked and gonna sink some time into this game.

 

Been playing One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 a LOT. So much fun.

 

Until Kotick is gone, it doesn’t really change anything.

 

Good riddance to Brack, a truly awful presence that the company will be better off without.

This doesn't by any means fix the problems there though.

 

Kotick should resign or the very least take a massive salary reduction. We know both of those won’t happen.

 

just saw that DiRT 4 is on sale in the xbox digital store today for 5$.

absolutely loving DA: Origins. I’ve played inquisition which is one of my favorite RPG’s of its time right up there with skyrim and witcher 3 but I’ve always heard origins is way better. Excited to get more into it but a few hours in and the in game cinematics are fantastic

 

When tf that Witcher 3 PS5 patch comin

 

Origins is incredible and better than Inquistion, which I also love. Origins is a rare game that I just randomly think about the quality of

Yeah but 2014 isn’t recent and their two actual most recent games, andromeda and anthem, are mediocre and straight up trash. I’m sure the studio has seen plenty of turnover since inquisition. especially if you consider inquisition began development a good few years before it released...yeah hard to imagine it’s the same studio at this point.

All I’ve played so far from them is Inquisition and a chunk of mass effect 2, which I plan on going back to once I buy the remastered trilogy and go through them all which will be soon. Def gonna hop on this baldurs gate sale even though I’m gonna play pillars of eternity and finish divinity original sin 2 first and those are like updated takes on the style of baldurs gate (and the studio that did divinity 2 is doing baldurs gate 3) but I still wanna experience the original and I’ll prob end up with the sequel too. I also wanna try neverwinter nights, and the second one even though I know obsidian did it

 

Anthem is way way worse than Andromeda. I don't think it's fair to put those in the same boat.

 

I agree it’s just one of their actual more recent games and was met with lukewarm reviews. I did call it mediocre while calling anthem straight up trash on purpose. And I’ve heard andromeda has gotten much better since launch
