Sony making mobile games makes sense because they still care about Japan but Japan does not care about stationary consoles. So you either make mobile games, handheld games (meaning Sony would have to make Switch games or make a new handheld) or be content with operating in what is increasingly becoming a niche market. The alternative would be to basically abandon the Japanese market, which is what Microsoft did, but they’re not Japanese (and barely had any success there to begin with) so it was easier for them to swallow.

Yeah I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I don't want to subscribe to goddamn Apple Arcade just to play that game. I'd buy it if that were an option but Apple sucks and doesn't let you buy Arcade games a la carte.

Less of a review and more of an overall rundown of the game. I do agree it needs more maps and better music They really liked Diamond Dash.

 

I haven’t played it but it reminds me (vaguely) of a game I loved on the 360. Monday Night Combat

 

Haha. I was going to mention that game. So much fun!

 

Would love a reboot of that. Had a blast playing that back in the day.

 

I loved the mascot that would run out and you could shoot it for coins.

 

NO FANBOY STUFF but the 360 legitimately had some of my favorite “arcade” titles. I probably sank more time into cheap little games than I did bigger titles.

Hell, I had hundreds of hours just in Uno.
