Assassin's Creed is one of the few franchises that could maybe translate well onto screen in my opinion. It hasn't done so far, but it's neat that they're giving it another go.

 

I've barely touched the AssCreed games, but do people play them for the narrative? Always seemed to me that the appeal is just throwing yourself around a huge city, not because people are invested in the characters or story. Don't really see how that translates as a show.

 

I have to say, Hades is a perfect game. Gameplay / replayability / animation / voice acting / soundtrack. Absolutely just 10/10 - incredible achievement.

 

I enjoyed the narrative of ACII when there was more Sci Fi stuff with Desmond (I think that's his name) the main character.

CDPR management needs to be completely cleaned out and replaced. Just a horribly poorly managed studio. And all those employees now have to suffer for another month because of their failed management.

 

That has become pretty standard though

Yeah going gold just means the game is feature and content complete. It sucks that the industry has gotten to this point but yeah it’s definitely getting pressed to disc in a buggy and broken state, requiring a day 1 patch to make it actually playable.

All the crunch of the last few weeks, and the coming weeks, is just for the day 1 patch. Shameful.

Holy shit can’t believe they delayed it again. This was a game I was so hyped for, but all the delays/CD Projekt being shitty has completely turned me off.
