If you wanted to have a legitimate and nuanced conversation about Cyberpunk, you should’ve come in here giving us something to work with. You’re being willfully ignorant about how everyone was going to react to you in the first place, and you’re also being stubbornly literal about the harley jarvis thing.

I just want to point out. It's not me, but thanks to all the people who came to my defense.

 

If your mind was already made up from the very beginning, what was the purpose of all of this? Just to rustle some feathers? Are we not even allowed to feel conflicted about the game in your eyes? There are plenty of places around the internet where you can have surface level discussions about the the game that don’t touch on the politics of it. It’s not our fault that we collectively clocked your bad attitude the second you came in here, and it’s not our fault for collectively wanting to throw you out of here immediately.

That’s not what they are saying. They are saying you came in here in bad faith, which you did. You were never interested in having a real discussion.

When a group of people disagree with the way I feel about something, they are adherent to a collective group thing and clearly belong to a thriving echo chamber. This is an incredible revelation that has improved my life greatly, because I now have an excuse to no longer pursue any sort of self reflection and/or introspection. I am now always right about everything for the rest of my life, and I have you to thank.

How can you read back through this thread and your take away is that we’re not allowed to discuss Cyberpunk 2077? Seems like a direct result of the nationwide cuts to public school funding if more and more people every day are showing off their complete lack of reading comprehension and critical thinking skills.

Yeah I flip off people selling Trump merchandise, confederate flags, and anti-BLM. Those people can’t be reached. I won’t apologize for that.

I also however, have many conversations with Trump supporting family members and co-workers about those issues, who I do not flip off, because they aren’t completely deaf to nuance.

You can keep deflecting as much as you want, but I have been pretty neutral with you in regard to hostility level.

I just don't really see the value of discussing with anyone why I don't think it's okay to make a transphobic game, or if social justices issues matter. I have already decided for myself that it isn't, and they do, and I feel like if your stance in 2020 is to be an antagonistic jackass about it we have nothing in common.
