Started Metro 2033 Redux last night, game is v spooky. If you like FPS horror with fantastic atmosphere and immersion, you should def check it out.

The Metro games are awful imho.

Alien Isolation however is sublime.

 

what don’t you like about them?

 

they are very clunky and unenjoyable to play for me. I do literally like everything else about them though. Esp the voice acting is fun as hell.

 

Yeah, the first thing I had to do was change the sensitivity straight away because the default is so slow for some reason, especially considering how fast some of the monsters come charging at you.

 

the old ones are mostly fine esp now that theyre at 60fps but exodus... woof.

Just beat Mario Galaxy for the first time and all I can think is "meh". I had more deaths because of camera angles than any Mario game combined, mainly because of the lack of being able to move the camera. Also it's pretty dang easy. Maybe it played a lot better when it released in 2007.
