recently found a barcade in the area but they are all indie cabinets and it seems like they rotate out a decent bit. I am mad it took me this long to go there.

I went to a barcade in San Diego and it made me so sad Fresno has nothing like that at all.

we have a decent brewery scene but nothing really crazy because most of the breweries focus on live music.

 

I was a regular at my local barcade and I didn't even play games there tbh lol. I was just there all the time because it was a nice bar. Mine has machines, but their big thing is they have every console at the bar with every major game that you can play for a flat fee. I tried a few times i just can't play at the bar with drunk dudes doing live color commentary of my gameplay lol

Gamers are bad. Drunk gamers are the worst.

 

There was a time where a whole bunch of other local townies my age who I have known forever would go every week, but now it is mostly Zoomers there to play Smash and transplant/tourists.

I mostly now just stick to my good old local shady dive bar none of those people would ever go to lol

STL has quite a few barcades in the area, Two Plumbers is the main one I go to, they have a microbrewery, a solid selection of cabinets and pinball tables, and a whole big ass rack of board and card games.

 

This is what AC should’ve have been doing forever ago.
