I’m a few hours into my first play through of the first Star Ocean. Really enjoying it so far. Excited to get to 2 eventually

 

Star Ocean 2 released at midnight so I did some good ole grinding

 

apparently back in the day the way to go is reload your save until your MC has the Nimble Fingers skill so you can steal stuff right off the bat, but I don't care enough about that. Just gonna enjoy it

 

This look cool as hell. Oh yeah, it’s out today.

 

That Robocop game is out today too.

 

After buying Alan Wake II, I had just enough Playstation Rewards Points to get Dredge! Spooky bonus!

 

Is this the most a game development cycle has felt like a pyramid scheme?

Haha yeah, there's like a couple others that have been weird like that random horror game or whatever everyone was suspecting was Silent Hill or something and some other junk. But this one really takes the cake for coming off as a complete mess

Nicely highlights what’s going on with Bungie. The music composer got laid off who is almost 70 years old. Also, Sony is sitting on billions in cash which could have protected these people. Unfortunate.

Another good point is that live service games, like Destiny, thrived during pandemic but now that it’s over, a lot of great games are coming out and people are dropping Destiny.

 

Star Ocean 2 is an incredible remake. Wow

 

it's so good. the QoL updates are incredible

 

The 800 million is going to be used to get an all star cast of voice actors and the actual game will cost like 1 million

So I was playing Cyberpunk and listening to Finch earlier today and I was doing the Panam story quests......and I dig her story stuff. It hits.

Damn, I thought Sony were rude with all their ads and weirdness on their home screen. This is just annoying coming from MS. No consoles, none of them should have a splash screen like this. I paid for your damn console and online service.
