If this is your first time playing VS after listening to a year of insane hype you are deff going to be disappointed haha.

 

At the end of the day we are talking about a $4 game.

 

I don't even want one and maybe I should get this

 

Been looking at WrestleQuest reviews and most griping seems to be that they chose a Mario RPG turn-based style with button presses instead of something more traditional.

I'll probably still buy it.

 

I don't think price equates to quality or depth.

Look at the $60 game Anthem.

Vampire Survivors is fantastic and in no way hollow.

If you don't like it, I understand that. It makes sense that the loop might not be for you, but to say it's bad or hollow just is willful ignorance. There's a lot more to it than whatever you're looking at.

 

Were you saying that it doesn't matter because it's only a 4 dollar game that's why it couldn't live up to the hype or were you saying "don't worry, you only spent $4 on it?"

There may have been some misunderstanding on my end.

 

What i'm saying that a big part of the hype was that this insanely addicting game that people are playing for 50+ hours is only 4 bucks, if Vampire Survivors was $60 it wouldn't be as hyped/beloved, people would prob be pissed lol.

The game was originally $2.99 which is crazy for how good it is and how much time you can spend with it

 

Lol, some of these comments ALMOST make me want to write a snarky post but I wont. Like I said, Im gonna keep playing and if something changes my mind, Ill happily eat crow. Id much rather enjoy something than hate on it.

actually I played with rebinding the controls a bit more and I think I just needed to find a configuration that was more intuitive for me.
