Mesc is the "Mikey likes it" for mid games. A true litmus test of the chaff vs. the slightly less chaff.

 

When BG3 comes to PS5, should I get that or Diablo 4? I only have time for one and both RPGs are getting good reviews.

 

It’s not. If you’re using a site like Metacritic and there is a game with 145 reviews and one with only 14 it’s going to be different once the game with 14 has anywhere near the same amount of reviews. It’s like when people celebrate when a movie starts off with 100% on RT with a dozen reviews and by the time it has over 100 its percentage has dropped.

 

Only you can answer this. Baldur's Gate 3, however, is objectively the better game but they have nothing in common.

Both are different animals but if you want action, Diablo. You want a true RPG experience, BG3

 

TOTK has over 80 PERFECT reviews on Metacritic.

Baldur’s Gate has less than 15 TOTAL reviews.

Comparing the Metacritic scores as this point makes absolutely zero sense.

What is it about Zelda that makes people go full zealot? It’s really not that amazing of a game series and I say that as someone with Majora’s Mask in his top ten. One of the biggest free passes in gaming.
