This video from one of my favorite YouTube channels got me to try Bugsnax. This game is awesome. The voice acting is really good and the writing is laugh out loud funny. You catch bugsnax and log them in a journal like a Pokédex and use different tools to catch them. You’re a journalist looking for the founder of the island. It can get a little dark. The Bugsnax are kinda like a drug and when the citizens eat them, their body parts change to the food that the Bugsnax is like. I think I’m halfway through and I’m super engaged in the characters and narrative.

 

I was so focused on games under $10 I didn't notice Gotham Knights was 70% off. Downloading now. Finally gonna play as Babssssss

 

Bugsnax is very cool but I was over the gameplay very quickly
