I switched to my ps5 to play after it crashes lmao or even my switch

nope it’s literally just my Xbox. The PS5 has never crashed and then the switch hasn’t either and my brother plays on the pc and it never has either it’s wild

 

So why not just play on ps5 then? There’s cross play right?

 

I think it’s just because of convenience because let’s say we switch from rocket league to Fortnite and then start to hate Fortnite so we switch back to like Minecraft or some sports game.

I’m also not really a fan of the PS5 controller lol

 

Do other games crash on Xbox?

I think warzone has crashed a few times but less frequently than Fortnite that’s for sure

 

Hmm it really might be your Xbox then. I’d try more games first though. Some single player games that still heat up the console.

 

My last attempt is going to be opening my Xbox and trying to clean any dust inside or whatever.

it’s just weird it was perfectly fine until the latest “chapter” of Fortnite came out and then suddenly it wouldn’t stop crashing after I got the update.

 

Now that does sound like Fortnite is messing with your console. Apex did that last year. One of their updates made the whole Xbox lag UNLESS you used an Xbox One rather than Series controller. Maybe try wiping your console and not installing Fortnite. Check if it works that way before taking it apart.

 

I played through Deus Ex Mankind Divided a couple of months ago on my Series X and by the mid game point, it was crashing consistently. I don't recall it ever doing that on my One X. But that's pretty much the only game I've ever had an issue with on my Series X.

 

Just want to provide some context for this:

these are exceptional numbers.

FF7R did 3.5 mill within a week on ps4, which had almost 3 times the install base of the ps5.

 

Game is amazing I love it

Can't wait to experience everything it has to offer

So proud of the CBU3 team

 

Big Diablo 4 patch hit yesterday which made Nightmare dungeons way more worth it so I just ran dungeons all god damn day lol.

 

That also wasn’t a full game though. Then again, FF13 “only” sold 1 million in its first five days on PS3 and 360? so it’s great either way.

 

Eh I call FF7R a full game, just because Nomura is doing Nomura things doesn't mean it doesn't count as a full game

Unless you mean a mainline numbered game vs a remake which yeah that's true

 

What I mean is that I think some people might have been a little put off by all that, but would have bought a “full” remake or new entry

 

It's fair, I don't think many people were just due to what FF7 is in itself but I get the reasoning. At first when it was announced I had that thought myself and ended up caving anyway

 

When I haven't been playing FFXVI due to the kids being awake and not wanting to have "the talk" about the birds and Penlab's backlog I've been playing Returnal again and I just suck so much at it, I love it but I'm so bad

 

I think there were a decent amount of people put off by it but any geek that is geek enough to care that it wasn’t a ‘full game’ still bought it because they are major geeks.
