I know a lot of people here don’t like ign but they gave tony hawk a 9

IGN only ever gave like 2 bad scores, namely alien isolation and god hand.

Any early impressions on NBA 2k? Gonna take some getting used to for sure. The game slows down a lot which makes me think it should be a lot more sim style which is good, but I can't get shot timings down for the life of me yet, and still have not figured out how to make a single free throw. Most of the baskets I've made are near the rim. Nice starting over in MyTeam, though, so that I don't have to play against all Galaxy Opal teams every time, but I already miss my All-Rockets team that I roll with in every game (my 2k20 line up was C: Yao / Sampson, PF: Olajuwon / Thorpe / Tomjanovich, SF: Parsons / Drexler, SG: Cuttino Mobley / Harden, PG: Francis / Westbrook / Calvin Murphy (all Rockets versions of each player of course)). 2k still rewards players for not playing defense and just camping down low with the big man (at least my early impressions and everyone I played against played defense like that). I've played 3 games so far and got up by double digits resulting in my opponent quitting in two of them, and i got drilled by like 40 in the other.

I really only play MyTeam mode each year (I don't give 2k any more money than the initial cost of the game, though, fuck that shit). Haven't dabbled in MyCareer or Park in years. And I occasionally play an online rated game with real teams (rolling with the Rockets of course). Still weird as hell playing next year's game already when the current season is still going. I usually stop playing 2k when the Rockets get eliminated from the playoffs in real life every year and move onto MLB The Show, but it's been a weird year to say the least.

 

Finally finished The Witcher 3 and all of the expansions! Put in 84 hours. I didn't do absolutely everything but I looked at a list of sidequests and I did like the vast majority so I'm pretty satisfied lol

Totally and completely lived up to the hype, one of the most well-written games I've ever played. The DLC is just as good if not better than the main story too. I really love the universe and how literally like every fantasy trope makes an appearance at some point. Definitely gonna watch the Netflix show now

Definitely gonna pick up THPS today, girlfriend hasn't played any Tony Hawk games apart from one on the Xbox 360 so it's gonna be a blast

 

I think I might have to wait until next month for both TH and Mario :(

Nba 2k21 is trash. The shooting fucking suck ass. They should have left it alone. Hopefully there’s a patch and it goes back to how it’s always been. The new cards in my team are sick tho and the floor for triple threat is sick

 

Tony hawk is def the best game of the 3 that came out today. Avengers is 2nd and nba2k is 3rd
