it really is a fairly common opinion that I come across online without looking or asking for it. there’s no narrative lol.

 

They haven’t come right out and said as much but they have hinted that Warzone will still be a thing and that Black Ops: Cold War will be integrated in some way. Hopefully will find out today during this big reveal but I kinda doubt it lmao.

 

I personally am generally interested in Cold War stuff, my long term interest in COD notwithstanding

 

If Black Ops Cold War takes place in the mid-80s, I would be more interested in this one. The interview with Yuri Bezmenov from the trailer took place in 1984, so I'm hoping that's where the game is set, or at least where it jumps off from.
