Player's Log: The Amber Throne.

Okay, the map was misleading because even though it is technically still a small map, there's still plenty of adventure, it feels like. I just enlisted my fifth party member, and besides the airship, I also have a chocobo-esque mount to speed across World Map areas.

I also found out that even though normally areas only have a finite amount of battles, there is one area where you can turn on a monument that allows enemies to respawn in that area. I don't know if anywhere else has this, but it's an interesting option. Haven't needed to worry about it yet though.

I think I'm two-thirds through the game, if not further, although I'm only basing this on that there are three main bad guys and I've killed two of them.

Anyway, I'm really enjoying this game. It really takes me back to those old 16-bit days.

Been playing Cult of the Lamb on my friend's Switch, naming my villagers after my friends, it's fun.

 

I really need to get around to this. I've heard nothing but great things and my friend just said it was one of their top indie games of last year

 

Chained Echoes is the real deal, such a good jrpg.

 

It's so good for emulation. First thing I played on my deck was Donkey Kong Country.

I posted a while ago on here that my brother gave me his old XBox One and it was my only non Nintendo console since the 360 like 15 years ago. I noticed all the games I was interested in are PlayStation exclusives, so I traded it in lol.

 

I was talking to my brother and I think I might actually build a gaming PC this year. Maybe.

 

my 14 year old bro just got a prebuilt gaming pc now all three brothers have a good rig and my sisters boyfriend is also a huge gamer

I truly hope for you that they finally patched the bugs in that game on Switch, it was game-breaking when I last played but that was a few months ago

 

my family has gotten hooked on overcooked 2 and then sea of thieves and it’s so much fun lol

the screaming that happens in overcooked when we can’t organize is fun
