I've actually been meaning to start Resident Evil for the first time ever too. Is there any easy way to play REmake 1 on current gen consoles?

I’m pretty sure you can get it digitally on all current gen consoles. Idk about game pass but I’m pretty sure it’s available on the middle PS+ tier. I think I just saw it on sale on switch as well

Unsurprisingly they remastered it for ONE/PS4

  14. I noticed my Hollow Knight save was missing some charms so I must've forked up the transfer so I reinstalled it on Gamepass and found the save directory and renamed the files and copied them over and loaded up the save in Steam to a bunch of other achievements being unlocked haha. Completion went from 86% to 102%. Idk if I'll ever reach 112% but at least I know there's always more to be done

Basically did the same with Spiritfarer except that's no longer on Gamepass so I had to buy it install it transfer the saves refund it, and it didn't unlock any achievements. I'm guessing some are only triggered during gameplay and some are just checked off a list of things you've accomplished.

I think I'm gonna cancel Gamepass and only resub when there's something specific I want to play. I'm taking the same approach with Spotify and streaming services. A handful of games I finished through Gamepass I've now bought on sale on Steam. I still have a backlog of other things--games and other media as well--I actually own I've yet to get to.

Damn Troupe Master Grimm is difficult

It's a bit of a dumb game, but some may like if it's not their radar - Metal: Hellsinger. I got this is a Christmas gift and it's pretty fun. It's a rhythm FPS game so you're a demon trying to escape hell, and you have to shoot the monsters on rhythm to METAL!! music. The more and longer you stay on rhythm, the more powerful you get it and the more layers that get added to the song. Each 'Hell' you have to escape, is a different metal song. I think the music is all original and they solicited various singers to get the vocals (I think the Trivium guy does one, as does SOAD). I haven't gotten past the first Hell yet, it's pretty hard to get used to but I'm enjoying it. I've gotten to the last boss of the first Hell several times, but haven't beat it yet.

I have found with headphones, I'm on point. For whatever reason, I can't calibrate it so I stay on beat with the TV audio (Sonos sound bar), but the headphones I can get in a groove.

Good game! It’s also on GamePass.

  17. You’d think being a musician and a seasoned shooter player i’d be good at the game but actually i am god awful at it

that said I wish I was good at it because Refused’s Dennis Lyxzen is in it!

It’s definitely more challenging than a lot of other rhythm games but once you get it, it’s not that bad. The game does a great job of increasing or decreasing the intensity of the enemies based upon how well you are doing.

A lot of professional musicians had a hard time with guitar hero and Rock Band so don’t be too hard on yourself.

Plus, anything with Matt Heafy is a win in my book.

The new Taiko is real good as well! You can even buy an official drum peripheral for it.
