well you're in for a wild fucking ride, I *love* RE3 Remake.

 

7, 8, and the REmakes are great. The rest, what's the saying? ymmv? 1 and 4 graphics and controls aged poorly, 5 and 6 just aren't very good. Played them all for the first time pretty recently myself. Love playing as Jill, Claire, and Ada

 

The REremakes are the absolute best examples of how to do a remake. I don't like horror games but 2 is outstanding.

 

Have you played Revelations 2? Playing as Moira Burton and Claire is really fun.

 

Genuinely don't believe you can go wrong with either of the recent REs.

My favorite gaming franchise

 

Capcom won me over with DMC 5, monster hunter world and rise, and the chunk of dragons dogma I played this year, so I’m super pumped to dive into their arguably biggest franchise besides maybe mega man and street fighter but even then it’s gotta be close

 

Capcom has been very good in recent years, but I've never played a DMC game and have always wanted to but don't know where to start

5 is the only one I’ve played and it was amazing. I bought 4 but haven’t touched it yet. Pretty sure they’re all good besides 2.

5 is a fantastic way to get into the series. And again, DONT LET NATE MAKE YOUR PLAY DmC

 

I really liked Revelations 1, thought the ship was really cool, but the second one turned me off because it was more like a Telltale game, which is fine except I only had the first episode when I started it. Must've gotten it in some Capcom bundle that didn't include the other episodes; I bought those later. I'd have to restart it, I think.

 

Speaking of, I haven't touched it yet but I'm pretty sure DmC was also in that bundle.

 

Yeah, the episode rollout was a fun novelty, but it's definitely a lot better when you can just play everything together. It's also fun co-op because all the different characters have different abilities like Claire uses guns but Moira uses a crowbar and stuns enemies.

 

The first episode was free on every platform I believe.

 

Wait, I don't know who to believe now. Do I play DmC or not?

 

If it’s on sale (which it should be at this point) check it out. It’s a decent hack n’ slash with a good soundtrack. But there are far better entries in the series to check out first.

 

Been playing some Darktide with some buddies and having a fucking blast

 

That game does look really good, but is it exclusive?

just got to the sector 5 slums in ff7 remake. up to this point the environments have been a little repetitive but man do i love this zone
