oh no my console has just been crashing at random games lately so I’m mostly making joke

 

Alright so I've barely played any video games this year because I had a goal of reading 22 books and when you are married and have a kid, there's barely any time to for yourself so reading this books took up a lot of free time.

My goal next year is to play and actually beat some video games I have bought, played for like an hour, and then life got in the way. So far this is my list (includes games coming out soon as well). Of course I'll probably buy a bunch during the year as things come out.

but it’s excellent and you’ll love every minute

Man, Callisto Protocol must've had an awful lot of refunds. Only 40% of players got the very first gun in the game. (about an hour into the game)

 

I listened to people I sort of respect talk about it on a podcast and it actually sounds really cool (though of course too spooky for me) and it seems like it is getting a raw deal critically, but that it is indeed a mess on PC

 

- I figured out the PC thing. Just leave the menu open for 10 minutes and it will pre-compile the shaders. Just had a one hour long session with 0 stuttering and almost locked 60.

- It truly is very good and my opinion that people were complaining about the game's designs because they were ignoring a lot of the mechanics hold fast.

Truly excellent game. Haven't had this much fun since Elden Ring. Glen Schofield is truly the best at making an Xbox 360 game not feel out of place in 2022.

Also, it's not spooky AT ALL, and I say that as someone that had to cover his face half the time during Resident Evil 7 and 8 and had to step away multiple times from the computer to go to my mommy.

Yeah they said something like that too. Apparently this happens sometimes now with UE games because people are using shaders for unintended things. Wild.
