If they fixed the controls and hitboxes, this is going to be really good.

 

Was listening to a podcast and they were giving Microsoft a hard time about the Halo Infinite video because it has texture pop ins happening and going back to watch it it is funny considering this is supposed to be running on the POWER of the series x the most powerful gaming console ever and this wasn’t even a live gameplay demo. Seems like that should’ve been fixed.

I do. They even said ray tracing won't be available at launch. It's just such a weird move.

 

idk actually the close ups on the guns etc looked super convincing. I am sold plus I'll be playing on PC anyway.

 

It’s gonna look great and polished as fuck. It’s a Halo game. Just don’t play it on your base Xbox One.

 

I mean two things can be true:

1) the game is going to look great
2) the video has a lot of elements that are cause for concern and doesn't do a good job representing the graphical fidelity of the final game

 

I think it looks fine. Not great. I think it will stay that way.

 

After the amount of pushback they’ve received they gotta do something.

 

They don't have to because it's Halo and it's going to sell regardless.

That's not even true. It needs to sell GamePass. Microsoft has flat out said they want people to play their games everywhere on any platform as long as they are part of the Xbox ecosystem. It doesn't matter if that's on PC, a phone, a tablet or an Xbox Series X.
