Players Log: Just completed the story for the Hivebusters DLC. It was nice to get some back story on the characters I have been playing Escape with. The final boss was very cool and on par with the final boss from Gears 2, although they did add it to Horde already so it was a bit anticlimactic.

Gears still has the best Horde of any game, hands down.

I think the new warzone is great actually. I find it much more approachable

I played a round last night and enjoyed it, feel like everyone is on a level playing field again for the time being so that’s good

Do... do people really think the company that develops Pokémon, one of the biggest and most profitable franchises in the world, for fucking Nintendo, is an indie company?

To be clear, I'm not suggesting the guy thinks that; I mean the people he's mocking. Which, fair play, he could just be exaggerating, but are we sure?

If the pokémon games thst have come out over the last five or more years came out without the pokemon name on them they would be getting 3’s or 4’s not 7’s and 8’s.

I remember comparing footage of Arceus to footage of 3D platforms of the PS2 era and it looked just about the same and ran a lot worse than shit like Tak and the Power of Juju or Ty the Tasmanian Tiger. It doesn’t matter though because people have pokemon tinted glasses in this industry and will just completely ignore the fact that one of the biggest IPs in the world gets games that look and feel like they should’ve came out 15-20 years ago.

 

Gimme a Pokémon game that looks like HZD and maybe I'll buy a Nintendo

 

I care a lot less about how it looks than I do about how it runs and oh god it runs bad

Would gladly sacrifice whatever they're trying to do to, in exchange for fixing the performance
