I’m so jealous you get to play through this game for the first time. Just be aware that there’s some (very easy) conditions you have to meet to unlock a lot of the extra later game stuff they introduced in Royal, and the game doesn’t really make a point of explaining it to you. Something to be cognizant of going in.

 

I started playing Dragalia Lost, because fuck you, that's why.

First move was totally to change the voices from English to Japanese, because for starters, the Japanese voices are just better.

A bigger reason though is the English voice work only covers less than half of the text the Japanese voices cover. I like my games fully voiced, thank you.

 

how's the summoning stuff working with the game shutting down? are they just giving access to every character or is some of that already lost?

Don't know, I only did the initial summoning so far, which gave me 50 free summons.

I don't know the characters enough to properly answer who is available and who isn't.

DE is like one of the best games I’ve played in years, it’s wild they would drive out the key people that made that game so special and especially while they’re working on a highly anticipated sequel.

Obsessed with Inscryption

 

Had an op deck earlier today but when I went up against the angler I got too cocky with my first hand. Should’ve sacrificed more cards

 

I swore I was just gonna do the first 30 minutes of wrath of the righteous last night and I ended up playing for two hours lmfao. I love it so far, turn based feels very well done and thought out and not just like a slapped on option if you don’t like real time with pause. It’s also helping me really understand the dice rolls that go behind every move and action you make by slowing everything down.

 

Really dumb question time…
I only have a Switch, but I play it all the time. My brother is giving me his old X-Box One. I haven’t had a non-nintendo console since the 360, and that was just GoW, Onlivion, and Halo. What are good games for it?

That’s a bit of a loaded question but it really depends on what you are into. Honestly, subscribing to GamePass is a safe and great way to get a ton of different games to check out.

Gamepass has much more than just Halo/online/multiplayer/fps. Every rogue-like/-lite I've played is on Gamepass. Also almost all of Bethesda's backlog is on there.
