So it looks like the Souldiers big update for consoles just came out, they did MAJOR work for performance issues and just re-balancing the game as it was obnoxiously hard. Going to try it out again today.

 

Finished AI: The Somnium Files nirvAna Initiative yesterday and FINALLY finished XC2 today, and I have to say both were wild rides.

I’ve been on break from persona 5 royal since I got burned out so I’ve just been playing smite and fall guys but I think I’m about to get back into P5R

 

Dicey Dungeons free dlc is great so far, miles better than that one free bank level you get in Dead Cells

 

Something about Stray I forgot. I forgot it's being published by Annapurna Interactive. And while I don't think it will be everything everyone is hoping for, I do think Annapurna has never put out a bad game, and I don't see them starting now.

Just hit 18 hours in Zelda: Skyward Sword. I'm enjoying it a lot more lately since that sluggish introduction, and it feels closer to a typical Zelda game. I don't really remember the Twilight Princess on the Gamecube when I beat it way back (2006 maybe?), but I do have a better feeling toward this one over TP. I also love how many similarities and influences I can see that were passed on to Breath of the Wild.

The controls though, 18 hours in, still dogshit.

My wife has PS Plus with her PS5, and I play it only on occasion. Heck she hardly plays it. I knew Stray was coming out and know my wife will want to play that(prob me too), but I haven't had her upgrade to the 'Extra' tier yet. Saw they released the PS Plus Extra and Premium "included" game list and it included 'FF7 Remake: Intergrade' and made her go ahead and upgrade. I'll probably only play very little of the game given how little I'll sit down in front of a TV and play a game as of late, but I've been wanting to play it forever just have never taken the plunge. I'm sure there will be some great games being added in the future I'm sure.

 

Players log: OG Prey is done! The funny thing is you really can't die after level 3 based upon the story so the hardest difficulty isn't that bad. They were way ahead of the Marvel movies with that ending. Sad the sequel never saw light but glad we have the reboot. Also, no joke, this is the song that plays during the closing credits:

I took a look at Dead Cells assist options, I like that it kinda opens up the door for me to try higher BSC to collect all blueprints. I think I'll have to buy the dlc at some point if I want to keep playing, though; the base biomes are getting kinda repetitive. Mind you, this is already after Gamepass deleted my save where I unlocked everything BSC1, so it's kind of a retread for me.

 

Imagine a battle pass where you gotta do tricks to get your battle pass tiers up
