Players Log: I have completed the marathon that is the base game of Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham. Wow, there is a lot to do...
Now I have the SIX DLC's.
The game is definitely a step up from the 360 titles but they went overboard with just how much you have to do. It was really great with all the people involved in the game:
-Conan O'Brian
-Kevin Smith
-Mister Mxyzptlk (voiced by Gilbert Gottfreid (RIP))
I am sure there are more
Overall, a great game but A LOT of work for the completion. Suffice to say, I need a break from the LEGO games for a bit!

 

One day I'm going to go through all the Lego games. It'll take me an entire year, but I'll have fun.

 

If you care about nothing but the story, then they are so much fun and fantastic coop games. But they are absolutely targeting completionists (like myself) with the remainder, which in all reality is more than 75%. I think it is really cool that if you do take the time to explore the games, you can see how many easter eggs and characters they put into them.

I do know someone that did them all back to back and they had to retire from gaming for a while. Lol

 

I've completed Lego Marvel Super Heroes, so I know what they're all about. And I've bought every single one that's come out (except for the new one), but I've never taken the time to really play any of the others, except for Avengers, which I stopped like halfway through for whatever reason.

Anyway, I wouldn't call myself a completionist, but I would call myself a collectathonist, which I believe these games also heavily target.

Also, damn. A series that forces a gamer to retire. You hate to see it.

 

I believe the retirement was for a day, haha!!!

 

I've been playing Dice Dungeons a lot. It's really interesting in that its progression isn't the usual sort of rogue where you unlock abilities and get stronger after each run but rather you unlock a series of episodes that each change the gameplay in a unique way. There's also a progress editor in case you find particular episodes too difficult or want to jump ahead. I've completed the final episode and still find the game highly enjoyable.

 

I have LEGO HP, Marvel Super Heroes 1 and 2, Star Wars the Skywalker saga, Jurassic world and LEGO City Undercover for my switch. I’m excited to play all of them (minus HP) but I don’t even know where to start tbh, haha.

 

I have every intention of doing all the LEGO games but they are definitely an every other game situation in my case, lol.

 

By the way, these DLC's are 150% a money grab situation. Literally a two minute intro story and maybe 10 minutes of gameplay, go back in on Free Play and collect all the Mini Kits. I also have 20 Billion studs right now lol.

 

All jokes aside, we are getting some GOOD games in GamePass!

 

I bought Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series for full price, because I looked for a deal and found none, and realized that left me with only two choices: a world with Klonoa and a world without Klonoa, and I found the latter choice untenable.
