Definitely digging it so far, it was like 7 bucks on the eshop

Player's Log: Danganronpa 2.

I'm midway through the first trial. Wild that it's only the first trial and it's already running so long that they feel the need to let you save partway through. None of the trials in the first game had that.

I'm not thrilled about having to keep track of pets; it seems like a really arbitrary and unnecessary addition to the game's already considerable set of collectible challenges. The Monokuma statue collectibles I'm cool with though; a fun distraction while I'm already searching areas.

Other than that, it feels just like more of the first game, which I'm fine with. I played the first game on Normal difficulty; this game I'm playing on Easy because I just want to have a good time and the only thing it will affect is me getting White Noise achievements. I'm pretty sure I won't be 100% this game anyway.

Poor UsamiMonomi. She just wanted the kids to have a fun island vacation to cultivate friendships and hope and now Monokuma's just gone and ruined that.

 

Yeah from what I remember it handled pretty poorly and had some unfair spikes in difficulty. Of course, maybe I was just 9.

Bruh, the 00’s were like a million years ago! Actually, I thought it was Psy-Ops for years until now.

 

I love the indie game selection on Game Pass, it’s robust and I enjoy trying out stuff I normally wouldn’t.

Finished the first chapter. I like how they've swapped up and improved upon the trial bits from the first game, although once again the instructions to some parts confused me at first until I actually played through them.

The game is already making me feel terrible. Nagito is fucking insane, and I never thought my heart would weep for the perv chef, but here we are. He just wanted to get back home to his mom! God, Junko is such a POS.

Why must this game be such gloom and doom!

Replaying RE6 (for some reason lol) and it’s wild they had RE4 as a blueprint and this thing still plays so badly/awkwardly.

that said, these games are some dumb fun when you’re never worried about running out of ammo

 

Did a few runs of Hades, gonna see if I can get the true ending (even though I've seen it on YouTube already haha...) it's been a while, I've missed this

I noticed gamepass tells you which games offer cloud support (and, therefore, which don't). Like Slay the Spire, my progress in Dead Cells has been deleted. It doesn't feel nearly as huge a loss as it did with all StS card unlocks (which I did manage to get back via save file editing).
Dandy Ace did have my progress saved, but I'm not so sure I'll be as inclined to return to it, as fine a game as it is. I'm really enjoying Loot River with its puzzle elements. Gamepass has so many dang rogues. There's a few I didn't like, and a few I haven't even touched, but it's cool to get to try them out.

 

I got the epilogue! Didn't even take that long, seems I was further ahead than I'd thought.
