the combat in Trek to Yomi doesn't really feel like it recognizes my inputs at times. like, after i manage to parry someone it feels like my follow up input just gets eaten and i can't counterattack.
i really like the vision of the game so far, though!

Tonight I finished the first Case in the game, and I'm more or less enjoying it so far. It feels more akin to The Nonary Games in atmosphere than Phoenix Wright, but it still scratches a similar itch.

I am slightly annoyed at one gimmick during the Trial segments, which is the rhythm game section. I didn't really understand the instructions the first time around (or even the second time) and so I blew my chance at getting an Achievement for completing a trial with no retries. Hopefully I can get it on the next one.

I kind of wish it borrowed more from the Phoenix Wright style of pressing and presenting, but the way they've actionified the trials in this game does give it its own identity and makes the proceedings a little more tense. I can't say I dislike it. It's different.

As for the story, the cast is starting to grow on me. Already a couple people have died that I wish didn't, but that's the nature of the game, I guess. Monokuma is such an annoying little edgelord.

 

Playing Skyrim for the first time about a decade too late.

Started with as an Imperial with a warrior Heavy Armor/One-Handed/Block/Archery build. Already completed Civil War and the Companions, and reached over level 50 in Heavy Armor and one-handed. Now i'm thinking about pivoting to light armor stealth gameplay and take on Theives Guild and Dark Brotherhood to balance my skillset out.

 

Gran Turismo 7 is excellent.

 

It’s a good ass game, solid blend of GT old and new. PS5 version looks incredible.

 

Tried the new cyberpunk game that’s on Game Pass, the dice system is interesting.

 

I've never been a huge fan of the series as a whole but I'm starting to think the secret is just buy the odd numbered games. Loving 7 more immediately than any of the others. Might just be the graphics though cause yeah, it's incredible on ps5

 

Love GT7. Spent so much time in it already doing the license challenges
