Isnt Outer Worlds that new Fallout ripoff game? Seems on brand for Obsidian to transition from commisioned work to ripoff work.

But Fallout with a good story and not absolute dog shit gameplay would be fun.

 

I'm cautiously optimistic on Outer Worlds

 

Well, arguably the Fallout games are now the Fallout ripoffs whereas this game has actual Fallout people working on it lol

Gamepass also lowers expectations for me on alot of games, I only played Sea of Thieves for a week and enjoyed my time a good amount, If I had paid $60 I'd be livid lol

There's this guy in Tales of Vesperia called Raven that's only 35 but all the other characters call him old man and it made me think of @oldjersey

I don’t care so much about it being similar, but the combat just looks so slow compared to Cuphead. Not sure how that could be fun

i back up all these Obsidian praise. i prefer them making crpgs but will always give their games some attention.

also Larian is still filling that gap (and doing a damn good job at it) so everybody wins.

 

I was just looking at what studIos Microsoft owns and saw that Rare is based in a village with a population of 850. Lol weird
