Right like I’m not going to suddenly switch to maining Xbox just because the console looks a bit odd

 

This looks really good, in all likelihood it will be something like this

 

All consoles should just look like the GameCube. Devkits are just junk until they figure out how to please investors and gAmErS.

 

Im with Joey, I could give a fuck what they look like and also nothing will be better than the switch unless nintendo makes a more powerful one or someone just copies them

 

I want a console to look like an old radio

 

Sony will copy the Switch when they realise they've lost the Japanese market

 

But really yeah idc about console appearance as long as it looking bad doesn't negatively impact other things (noisiness, weight, convenience, fragility, etc)

 

The Xbox one X is sleek and noiseless.

Honestly the perfect hardware design.

 

GBA SP is the greatest design of all time tho

3DS XL is the greatest design of all time

 

I think that now with backwards compatibility becoming a default fewer people will switch main consoles with changing generations

This is a very good point. I plan on getting the Xbox also after a price drop or two just for the exclusives but I wonder how many people will actually fully switch over now that you’d be losing way more if you do.

Switch is great and it'd be cool if there were like additional features to the dock

Like if you could load a 2nd cartridge into it or something

But everything's great and fine now it'd just be cool

 

On the other hand there are a lot of people that mostly own like a bunch of CoD's and FIFA's they won't play again once the next one out. Still, overall switching will becomes less likely, I think.
