Holyyyy shit. That’s real bad. And as if people needed an excuse to drop E3 like a ton of bricks.

 

Yeah E3 was the biggest loser at this years E3. With all the shouters, low gameplay reveals, stalling for next gen, and now this

 

E3 needs to go anyway honestly. I know people like to hold on to it but it’s honestly an outdated concept at this point. Nintendo, EA, and Sony bailing was the writing on the wall.

 

I mean, it’ll probably become an actual industry internal trade fair at some point, without all the spectacle

I liked E3 a lot, but it definitely is more suited to back in the day when these popular franchises were still new, and before YouTube/online streaming really took off.

Like I remember tuning to G4 slamming Mountain Dews, and waiting all day for the Halo 3, Modern Warfare 2, and Gears of War 2/3 reveals.

I think it doesn’t hurt to keep it, to allow newcomers looking for work to network and stuff, but it should probably be scaled down a bit

 

Mannnnn G4 was so cool when I didn’t internet. I would spend all summer mornings watching it, and then gaming before Attack came on.

 

What was the game review show with the woman and man whose names I can’t remember, but always were hosts at E3 as well.
