I still have never played a Dragon Quest game. Eight looked really cool though, I had a college roommate obsessed with that game.

Truth. Arguably the name Final Fantasay slightly more interesting than Dragon Quest. That’s all I can think of lmao

 

Dragon Quest is great but arguably redundant and very simple for its battle system. Also the inventory maintenance is annoying af. I dont get how you can say DQ is better in every way unless you havent played some of the best FF's. I've played the best of what both has to offer and the engagement and emotion I felt during the FF games is FAR superior as far as story and the battles are alot more fun as well.

 

Soundtracks is a no fucking contest, DQ11s soundtrack is pitiful as much as I love the game

DQ is not redundant lol. DQXI is one of the best JRPGs of the last 10 years and is FAR superior than any modern FF
