That game seems to have popped up out of nowhere - had no idea it existed until last week. Super interested. Didn’t play Bloodborne til last year, but adoredddd the setting and monsters.

 

Drugs should be completely decriminalized everywhere, Japan certainly has a drug problem, they choose to deal with it like a straight criminal issue, thats fucked up.

 

Sony owning Rockstar would be just. Wow. For me personally, that’d be another nail in the coffin of Xbox, on the heels of their strange disc-less console that’s supposedly coming soon.

 

That discless console is just a discless One S, so just an extra model, like the PSP Go or Wii Mini or whatever.

The idea of containing GTA to one platform is the main reason I don’t believe this lol

 

Wasn’t GTA a Sony thing to begin with anyway? But yeah, it seems suuuuper unlikely haha.

Didn’t know about that being a One S, but that seems odd also? Like another niche version of their console.

Not because it was also on PC. But GTA then was a very different beast from what it is now.

 

Literally said it's super shitty of them how they handle any drugs/drug problems. didn't call the country shitty, but go off. Japan is completely backwards when it comes to drug laws there. US is fucked too, it's not a comparison of the two. They're both bad in their own ways.

Probably because it will be a cheaper model because they don’t have to pay for the disc drive (no license fee to whoever owns Blu Ray now etc.)

Also there is a rumor about the next Microsoft gen having a discless model and a disc model I think (which probably makes sense these days), but that’s a different thing. The discless One S is really real.

 

They aren't the best at gay rights either. Gay people still can't adopt there for instance.

 

My cousin has lived there for a few years and has had two children actually born there. He says it’s a fantastic place to live although there is a lot of culture shock to adjust to.

 

Just annoys me that people dismiss things wrong in Japanese society as being cultural differences. Japan will still be Japan if drugs are legalised, Japanese culture won't suddenly disappear lol

Not sure what I think about Days Gone. The initial demo looked incredible, then the one last year turned me off. Apparently it’s being really well received during hands-on playthroughs with the press though.

A little sad that Crash Team Racing, MediEvil and TLOU2 are all I’m looking forward to this year. Sekiro does look interesting, but I’ll wait to see gameplay on release.

Yakuza games aren't for everyone but I love them

 

They’re awesome if you don’t actually expect a GTA-like because they’re not that at all
